Jambojet tends to be cheaper and flies larger jets with a smoother ride, but its schedule is built around Nairobi-Mombasa coastal traffic, not safari arrivals. If your itinerary already includes a Safarilink flight out of the bush, staying with the same carrier into Diani reduces the risk of a missed connection. Safarilink can hold a following flight for its own delayed inbound passengers more easily than it can for a different airline’s.
Flying, driving, or the train: the honest trade-off

A same-day connection under two hours is possible but tight, and if you miss it, the next Diani departure may not be until the following morning.
